Public Consultation from Wednesday 1^st July 2026 to 4pm on Thursday 30^th July 2026

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 58(13) of the Planning and Development Act 2024 (as amended) that Tipperary County Council has prepared Proposed Material Alterations to Proposed Variation No. 1 of the Tipperary County Development Plan 2022-2028.

Public Display of the Proposed Material Alterations:

The Proposed Material Alterations to Proposed Variation No. 1 (and associated SEA, AA and SFRA documents) are on public display from Wednesday 1^st July 2026 to 4pm on Thursday 30^th July 2026 on this webpage and may also be inspected during normal opening hours (excluding public holidays) at the following locations:

Previous Stages of Proposed Variation No. 1

Proposed Variation No. 1 of the Tipperary County Development Plan 2022-2028 was placed on public display in March 2026.

A Chief Executive Report on submissions received to Proposed Variation No.1 was submitted to the Elected Members of Tipperary County Council for their consideration in May 2026.

Having considered both Proposed Variation No.1 and the Chief Executive’s report, the Elected Members of the Council agreed, by resolution, to make Proposed Variation No.1 with Material Alterations at a Special Council Meeting on 18^th June 2026.
