New Digital Strategy for Tipperary- Have your say!
The world has witnessed major technological progress since Tipperary County Council launched its Digital Strategy for the county in 2018.
With the National Broadband Plan now having completed its work in the county, the County Council has begun to conduct research to review the state of digitalisation in 2026 and develop a new Digital Strategy for the county.
A major component of this work is to survey individuals and organisations to assess their levels of digitalisation. Areas covered will include connectivity, digital skills, cybersecurity, use of Artificial Intelligence, barriers to digital progress, safety online, etc.
Survey questions should take around 7-8 minutes to answer, and the surveys are completely confidential.
Speaking at the project launch, Kathleen Prendergast, Economic Development Officer for Tipperary County Council said ‘we have reached a point where developments in technology are constantly in the news. Technology has delivered enormous benefits but concerns about its influence in the future, are growing. These surveys will allow people in Tipperary to provide insight on their experience of using technology in their personal and working lives. We will listen and enact policies based on reliable data.’
There are two separate surveys online with links as follows:
- Business / Organisation survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/BusOrg_Survey_2026
- Citizen survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Citizen_Survey_2026
